Key Responsibilities

I. Marketing & Brand Development (50% Focus)

The assistant is expected to be social media savvy and a key driver of our brand growth and listing visibility.

  • Social Media & Content Strategy: Lead the effort to grow our social media presence (Instagram, TikTok, etc.), including consistent posting, active audience engagement, and brainstorming creative ideas to attract new tenants and guests.
  • Campaign Execution: Assist in creating compelling content (visuals, copy, short-form video), running focused marketing campaigns (paid and organic), and tracking results across all online platforms.
  • Brand Enhancement: Develop and maintain a consistent, professional brand voice online that enhances our appeal to both short-term guests (vacation rentals) and long-term tenants (residential leases).
  • Listing Optimization: Assist with managing and optimizing listing content, photography, and descriptions for all properties across platforms like Airbnb, Booking.com, and internal websites to maximize conversion rates.

II. Operations & Property Management Support (50% Focus)

This role provides essential, hands-on support for the team's property management and customer success functions.

  • Guest/Tenant Communication & Success: Serve as a friendly and professional primary point of contact for communicating with guests and tenants via email, text, and platforms, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive, high-quality experience (customer success).
  • Maintenance Coordination: Support the daily operations of our rental properties by fielding maintenance requests, coordinating necessary vendor and service calls, and tracking resolution timelines.
  • Scheduling & Onboarding: Help manage team and vendor schedules. Coordinate with the team on the smooth onboarding of new tenants, ensuring all paperwork and necessary communications (keys, entry codes, welcome packs) are executed.
  • Booking Data Management: Manage and update key operational data, including tracking booking details, tenant records, property status, and financial summaries on spreadsheets and internal management systems.

    • Flexibility: Willing to wear different hats across operations, marketing, and customer support.
  • Bonus Qualifications:
    • Familiarity with short-term rental platforms like Airbnb, Booking.com, and other property management tools is a plus.

  • Hours: Eastern Standard Time (EST) with flexibility.
  • Availability: Must be available to assist during weekends when needed for urgent operational support or critical posting needs.
