We're currently seeking a skilled React Native Developer to join our team to build a high-performance tablet application from the ground up. We are empowering an innovative tech startup building a specialized tablet-based operations management platform. The project involves complex real-time data visualization and resource allocation tools designed for high-paced environments. We need a developer capable of translating complex operational logic into a seamless mobile experience.

Key Responsibilities

I. Core Application Architecture

The developer is expected to own the technical implementation of the tablet application, ensuring high responsiveness and stability.

• Tablet-First Development: Develop and deploy a native application specifically optimized for iPad and Android Tablet screen sizes, ensuring layouts utilize the larger screen real estate effectively.
• Interactive Mapper Implementation: Build a complex "mapper" interface that allows users to interact visually with objects (spatial UI) rather than standard lists, including drag-and-drop or touch-to-assign functionality.
• Real-Time State Management: Implement logic to handle real-time status changes (e.g., color-coded visual indicators for availability) using WebSockets or real-time database listeners to ensure data is synced instantly across devices.

II. Integration & Logic

This role requires integrating external services and managing complex business logic on the client side.

• API Integration: Integrate Google APIs for external data synchronization and manage connections to a cloud-based backend.
• Complex Form Management: Build intuitive interfaces for rapid data entry, including calendar-based timelines and historical data retrieval.
• Logic Implementation: Develop the client-side logic for "return user" recognition and automated notification triggers.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced developer who understands that "mobile-first" includes tablet optimization.

Core Skills

• React Native Expert: Strong proficiency in React Native for both iOS and Android.
• Spatial UI / Canvas: Ability to build interactive graphical maps or diagrams (beyond standard flexbox layouts).
• Real-Time Sync: Experience with Firebase, WebSockets, or similar technologies for live status updates.
• Tablet Optimization: Proven experience dealing with tablet aspect ratios and UI patterns.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with calendar libraries and time-slot management logic.

Position Details

• Duration: 3 Months (Development Phase).
• Hours: 4pm onwards.
