We're currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance and Accounts Manager to join our team and help steer our financial operations to ensure stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping and Record Maintenance:
Maintain and manage the company's chart of accounts and general ledger using QuickBooks Online.
Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately, timely, and in accordance with accounting principles.
Maintain a systematic and secure filing system for all financial records.
Accounts Receivable & Payable:
Oversee the generation and dispatch of customer invoices, and actively follow up on outstanding payments to manage cash flow.
Manage the complete accounts payable cycle, including processing vendor invoices, verifying documentation, and ensuring timely payments to third-party vendors and service providers.
Payroll and Taxation:
Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accurate calculations and compliance with Pakistani labor laws.
Handle employee-related tax deductions and filings as per the Income Tax Ordinance.
Corporate Tax Management:
Handle all corporate tax matters, including the preparation and filing of monthly sales tax returns, quarterly advance tax, and annual income tax returns.
Act as the primary point of contact for taxation authorities like the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and manage tax notices, inquiries, and audits.
Financial Reporting & Forecasting:
Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
Develop and maintain financial forecasts and annual budgets, conducting variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Compliance and Reconciliation:
Ensure the company's full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations from bodies like the SECP and FBR.
Perform regular reconciliation of all bank accounts against company books to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as ACCA, CA (Finalist/Inter), ACMA, or an MBA in Finance is highly preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in an accounting and finance role.
Demonstrated experience in a managerial capacity is a strong plus.
Technical Skills:
Essential: Proven proficiency with QuickBooks.
Essential: In-depth, practical knowledge of Pakistani tax laws.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, financial modeling) and Google Sheets.
Familiarity with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
Soft Skills:
Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills to meet strict deadlines.
High level of integrity, professional ethics, and confidentiality.
